The idea is to run every street in Buffalo from end to end starting the first day of 2016 and finishing at the Buffalo Marathon on May 29th. The route of the marathon will be the last miles run thus completing every street in Buffalo. Along the way, I will be documenting the neighborhoods, houses and streets that most people do not see or have completely forgotten about. This is more a photographic project that uses running as a way to see the little details. In describing running, I’ve said that it’s at a pace that allows you to comfortably digest the world around you and the photos in this project prove it.
I’m a former business owner, founder of Sunday Bikes and former professional BMX bike rider with an interest in urban planning, photography and design. Started running about 4 years ago when I lived in Austin, TX. During the summer, you can often find me running trails throughout the region, but this winter I’ve found the roads to be a very exciting adventure.
